About
TIEC.

Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is a world-class equestrian facility nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Spanning over 1,500 acres, TIEC features state-of-the-art arenas, permanent stabling for more than 1,000 horses, and a vibrant village with dining, shopping, and entertainment.

In 2018, TIEC made history as the host venue for the FEI World Equestrian Games, bringing the world's top riders and their horses to Polk County. That event put the Tryon area on the global equestrian map and cemented the region's reputation as a premier destination for every discipline — from show jumping and dressage to eventing, driving, and reining.

Today, TIEC operates a year-round competition calendar that attracts thousands of competitors and spectators from across the country and around the world. The facility continues to invest in improvements, including expanded cross-country courses, additional arenas, and enhanced hospitality amenities. For equestrians seeking a home base near a top-tier venue, there is simply no better location than the communities surrounding TIEC.
